2005 jeep LJ full build
LS based 5.3 truck motor with 4L65E transmission. Powered by a Holly Terminator X Max ECU. Atlas 2 4.3:1 transferase.
Front Dana 60 with 5.38’s and an ARB.Front axle has custom truss to run a Howe 2.75 x 10” full hydro ram.
rear sterling 10.5 with 5.38’s ARB and Barnes 4wd rear bridge.
We went a little wild with a front-half & back-half to gain the most uptravel without going full buggy. this front/backhalf allows us to gain 2.5” extra up travel and use all the added clearance of PSC front fenders without rubbing.
In the back, we went all out and created rear cargo area raising the floor 2.5” allowing more up travel while not obstructing cargo.

Jay Randall’s LJ is simple but checks all the boxes, Low LCG, Wider than stock, 12” coilovers front and rear, hydraulic bumps, all the armor and hydraulic assist steering.
This rig may look like a “regular jeep” but its FAR from it.
