ABOUT divergent
We love this stuff… designing, fabricating, building with our hands and our minds. We’re into the details, the dirty work, and the big-picture thinking. It’s not just about making things look cool (though we’re pretty good at that too)It’s about understanding how it all works. The wiring, the welds, the way one small part affects the whole. We get fired up by the process, not just the result.
There’s a certain magic in turning raw material or even just an idea on a cocktail napkin into something real. Something that works. Something that wasn’t there before. It doesn’t matter if it’s steel, wiring or programing… if it can be built, we’re already thinking about how to do it better, faster, cleaner, stronger.
Anything is possible. You just have to do it. You have to start, mess up a few times, throw a wrench once or twice (not recommended, but sometimes necessary), and keep pushing until it clicks. And when it clicks? That’s the payoff. That’s the addiction.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been tearing stuff apart. Toys, radios, vacuum cleaners… basically anything with screws. I wasn’t trying to break them… I just needed to know how they worked. (Sorry, Mom.) Now, years later, I’m still doing the same thing just with better tools, fewer tears, more blood and slightly more responsibility.
It’s funny how that works. Back then, I had no plan. Now I can’t stop planning. Can’t stop building. Can’t stop wondering how to make something work better, last longer, or look cooler. Some people call it work. We call it fun… well, fun with a lot of late nights and excessive caffeine.
In the end, this is what we do. We build things that weren’t there before. Whether it’s custom, complex, or just plain crazy, we figure it out. And we love every second of it.
